Derek Notman is a CFP®-certified entrepreneur, author, and co-founder of REBL Dads, a global community helping high-performing fathers lead with intention at home and at work. Born in Ireland and raised internationally, Derek has spent more than 20 years building businesses across financial services, online education, fintech, and community, all while being a devoted father to his son. He co-authored the REBL Dad book with Sir Richard Branson writing the foreword, and has been featured on Entrepreneurs on Fire, Brainz Magazine, and Wealth Without Bay Street.

Derek Notman has been building companies for over 20 years. He founded a financial advisory practice, built an online education business serving financial professionals, and co-founded Couplr AI, an AI-powered advisor-client matching platform for wealth management firms. A CFP® since 2015, he has been called a dadpreneur, someone who refuses to choose between building a great business and being a great father.
The REBL Dads Origin Story
REBL Dads was born from a challenge. After Derek and his best friend and co-founder H. Adam Holt interviewed more than 100 fathers across the globe, they shared their findings on Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island. Branson's response: How are you going to help more dads with these insights? That question changed everything. The result was the REBL Dad book, co-authored by Derek and Adam, with a foreword by Sir Richard Branson, and the global community that followed.
