When I arrived here, my mind was blown — this is like something out of a movie. Then you look up at the docks and there's Sir Richard Branson, and you think, what? That was amazing. The fact that he lets us come here, and how involved he is in everything we do, gives you a real sense of the kind of person he is. This was not just an inspiration — it broadened my thinking so much about what's possible, and showed me the deep level of care he has for people. That is immense.

This REBL Dads community that Derek Notman has started is absolutely a phenomenal idea. I've met people I would never have met otherwise — I now have a roommate for the first time in many, many years — and it's amazing how much we have in common even though we didn't know each other. Having that support, those insights, and that sharing has been fantastic, and I genuinely hope I'll be able to come back. This has been a life-changing event for me.
